Whenever Republicans are portrayed on “The Simpsons,” it’s usually the same setting: A grand castle, complete with foreboding moat and wolves howling into the night. Inside is even more sinister: A gathering of bankers, barons and other wealthy members of the “one percent” conspiring how to steal the next election, manipulate the public and add to their already vast fortune.
